Save Money By Swapping Your RV
You might own an RV and love traveling around with it near your hometown. So wouldn’t it be great if you could travel somewhere far away but still have an RV with you without having to pay expensive rental costs?
A British man named Chris Farrow is one step ahead of you and has established an RV exchange program called Motorhome Holiday Swap. His company and website work to introduce RV-loving people from different countries or regions who then agree to do an RV swap.
Say you live in Florida and want to holiday in the Vancouver area in Canada but don’t want to spend the gas money to drive all the way there – or the time. Through Motorhome Holiday Swap, you could be introduced to a family in Vancouver who want to do exactly the opposite. You hop on a cheap flight, pick up your temporary RV and enjoy your holiday with all the benefits of an RV; it just happens to belong to somebody else.
Apart from a website registration fee, there is no cost for the RV swap and you can do it as often as you like. The only requirement is that you take out your own insurance on the vehicle while you’re using it. There are RV swappers across the world, including the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Spain and Austria, so your destination could be almost anywhere.
Perhaps you still need a hotel along the way? Be sure to visit Hotels Cheap for the best rates and availability on hotels around the world.
