Take your group to see Santa

Does the idea of standing in line at the mall waiting for your kids to sit on Santa’s lap sound unappealing? Dress up the annual trip to see Santa by making it a vacation. Gather together all of the kids in the extended family or invite several family friends to join you for a unique winter holiday vacation. You’ll get to relax and enjoy a group trip while the kids still get the chance to let Santa know what they’re hoping to see under the tree this year.
Here are some places to consider:
- Bethlehem, CT. Also known as Christmas town, this winter getaway has Santa and then some.
- Hershey, PA. Christmas and gifts of chocolate go hand-in-hand. Take the group to a city that combines the two.
- North Pole, New York. Can you think of a better place to go see Santa than at The North Pole? They have full family weekend packages for groups.
If you can’t get your group up to the New England area to see Santa, see if there is somewhere near you that goes all-out for Christmas. Just getting away to a new location to do some shopping, see some Christmas lights and do the Santa thing can make the whole experience fresh and new.
