A day at the spa

Spa days are becoming increasingly popular and groups can get great discounts on a day at the spa. But before you go, consider the following.

  • What does everyone want from the spa experience? Every spa is different; and every customer has different expectations. For some, a day at the spa means a mani/pedi and little else, while others want a full array of services from deep tissue massage to a facial. Be sure everyone’s on the same page before you book.
  • What will the day entail? You’ll want to know what you’ll be doing throughout the day and how long you’ll be there.  Explore the package deals to make sure you’re getting everything you imagined.
  • What extras can you get? For example, is lunch included? Let the staff know that you’re coming with a group and whatever your special occasion is, this is the best way to get the deals.
  • Does anyone in your group have a medical condition that would preclude certain treatments? Some people don’t like to have their feet touched, so pedicures are out. Some people have high blood pressure or heart conditions, so hot tubs may not be an option. A spa day is nice, but not if you can’t or don’t enjoy it.
