Philadelphia is a city which often gets overlooked by travelers. That’s due in part to the fact that it is in such close proximity to the huge tourist draw of New York City. It’s also due to the fact that Philadelphia just doesn’t get the media attention by travel writers that it deserves. But those people who do take the time to visit Philadelphia find that there’s a great mixture of modern and historic charm to the city. And there is no better way to experience that great merging of both past and present than to check out the museums that are devoted to highlighting these different parts.
