Discount Travel Suggestion for South America

It’s possible to have a limited travel budget but visit someplace exotic. South America for example has many locations that are tourist friendly, but still affordable on US dollars.

If you’re willing to give up some amenities and “rough it” a little you’ll save considerably. You’ll also be in some of the most beautiful places the world has to offer. Here are some suggestions:

Argentina
One of the most beautiful and scenic countries in South America, in fact the capital Buenos Ares is often called the Paris of the Southern Hemisphere. To compliment it natural beauty Argentina has an active night life and renown cuisine. Bargain hunters should be able to get by on $50 or less per day.

Venezuela
Another country in South America with beautiful scenery. It’s has a coastline is covered with amazing beaches. The coral reefs off shore are very popular for snorkeling and scuba expeditions. Bargain hunters can find local hotels and hostels for under $20 to $30 per night.

Peru
Peru is a destination that is steeped in history. The country has ancient ruins and sightseeing tours available at discount prices. The most popular being the Inca ruins at Machu Picchu. For the more adventurous you can find amazon jungle treks and white water rafting.
