This hostel screams location, location, location and leaves it’s residents with little desire to leave. Dedicated businessmen and women will really appreciate the rustic atmosphere combined with a wifi connection. Rates for treehouse accommodations range from $16 to 33 a night.

When luxury is the target then the Carbisdale Castle in Carbisdale Scotland will surround you with royal accommodations. The art galleries feature large collections of paintings and Italian Marble statues while the carved wooden staircase and stained glass windows are artworks in their own rights. For a little added excitement the Carbisdale also features several ghosts including a Lady in White and a Piper as well as a Nursery/Schoolroom that may be filled with the spirits of rambunctious children. The fees at the Carbisdale vary depending on the accommodation you seek. Travelers with deep pockets can rent the entire castle for special events but the budget conscious can bunk in the dorms for about $25.

Hostels deserve a second glance and a lot more respect. Any vacation dream can be enhanced by a trip to a hostel.
