JetBlue

JetBlue has been getting a lot of media attention these days for its decision to make inflight email available. If you’re interested in the perks JetBlue has to offer, maximize your flying experience by joining the airline’s loyal travel discount program, TrueBlue.

The program is as simple as any other frequent flier type of site. You just fill out an online application and get a TrueBlue number. When you’re booking your flight through the company, you’ll use that number to rack up points on your travel. When you accumulate 100 points, you’ll get a free flight.

It takes about 25 flights (depending on how far you’re traveling) to get the free one. But if you’re going to be flying on JetBlue anyway, you might as well add the points to your tally. It’s not like it costs you anything and there are no strings attached to join the program. The airline has been recognized in the past as a great discount airline so you’ll probably save money on your tickets anyway if you book through them. And you’ll be able to send email while you’re on the plane.
