10.
Chateau Marmont (West Hollywood, California) - A.k.a. Lindsay Lohan's
Hideaway
This Beauty
of a hotel was constructed to be earthquake proof and has made it
through many major quakes with minimal damage. It has nine cottages
adjacent to the main building. There are tons of people associated
with this hotel including the drug overdose and death of John Belushi,
Jim Morrison of the Doors falling out of one of the windows (obviously
intoxicated), James Dean jumping through the window in order to
get into the "Rebel Without a Cause" audition, Led Zeppelin rode
their motor cycles indoors through the lobby, and Britney Spears
getting kicked out for smearing food across her face and yelling
(she was probably attempting to sing again). And if you're looking for other drugged out places, make sure to add San Francisco to your list of must-sees. Of course, we have great rates for San Francisco hotels as well.
